I wish I could go, but also the cost is to much. I live in L.A., CA so driving is out of the question. But I will be reading everrything about it after it happens. Tell me how it is okay/

Peace, Late, Skate

~Steve~
I mgiht be going for one day. Anyone want to name an OK hotel in the neighborhood? Also has anyone actually taken the Amtrak from Boston to NYC? Is it worth it?

Paul Morrison ... the striped bass are in ...
Amtrak is pretty good Boston to NYC. My daughter takes it often when she visits. As for hotels, I know marg and her daughter got a pretty good rate at the Milford Plaza. It's in Times Sq. and within walking distance of the Javits Center. Check Hotels.com.

I used to take Amtrak when I lived in Boston. It's OK--and you don't have to worry about parking a car (which in NY costs more than renting a hotel room )

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"
