Hey, I've been there a few times. Very interesting city. I was there for port visits with the US Navy, but the architecture is amazing and people friendly that I was lucky enough to meet. I'd visit again. I thought everything that had to do with homes and housing was expensive, but that's just an outsiders perspective.

Later,
Les
Yeah, housing is expensive, not much culture (in the western sense, like operas or exhibitions) and the weather sucks in the summer, but everything else is nice and you can't expect much happening because it's just a small country/island. People are cool. It's one of the few places you can still live a colonial era lifestyle. Not for long though. Changes are coming. It's becoming more democratic and more religious than before at the same time. In the seventies you could see women in miniskirts, now the dress code in generally fully covered. I like it here, but I need to get out for a few weeks from time to time.
