What should I be checking when I have an application that will run if I'm booted into 9 just fine, but won't run in Classic. Whenever I try to run it, it starts up in X even if I have checked the appropriate box in the Get Info. I've already run fsck and repaired permissions. I've even updated pre-binding.

I really want to try this program in Classic mode rather than in X because it freezes my machine in X. When I run it under System 9, it runs perfectly. Yet, it's such a waste of time to boot into 9 just so I can run this program.

** sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn **

I've always understood classic to be an emulation of OS 9 rather than the real deal. Maybe that's the issue, I could be wrong on this, but my 2 cents worth.
