I would love for Apple to bring out a new iTunes for OS X only...and restore some of the features Soundjam had.

I enjoy iTunes as it is, and I love the price...I just miss some of the functionality.

Vijay,
I believe Apple is moving in the direction of phasing out OS9 apps which is bad news for you all that stick with it. Granted it might not be completely gone by this year, but watch, slowly but surely OS9 will fade from the scene.

Heck, with jaguar, they might just kill it all together. OSX is the future of the mac.

What Apple wants is that all developers to develope for OSX only.

Developers currently have to support 2, OSs, that means time and money to write 2 of the same apps to run on 1 machine.

Apple says it time to develope for one OS and Apple will lead the charge, OS 9 will still be supported but from now on new apps will be OSX only. So upgrade or be left behind in a few years time.

My other Mac runs OS 8.0 and much of the OS9 games will not even run on that machine and Netscape 4.0 would not even load MM or MC pages.

I see that even I will at one time need to upgrade or just buy the latest Mac.

Yeah, I know I got to upgrade. Apple sure is giving lots of incentives for people to start using OS X. I do like OS X. Just that it's slow on my G4. Need more RAM.

--
I am Dyslexic of Borg. Fusistance is retile. Your a$$ will be laminated.
