Before everyone gets miffed at all this postings (what we call spam in other boards) I suggest you all stop, so that those who don't want to have to wade through the crap thinking something was being posted won't have to.

Here is my suggestion for Steveg and others about the "to be fair" thread....just stop posting in it. Read it all you want, but don't post...after all, if you don't feed a flame, it dies out. Who is he going to talk to other than himself?

Myself, I'm through with that thread and I hope those that don't like it are with me. I have noticed that the women of MM haven't posted today and I hope that they aren't sitting there shaking their heads at the childish nature of some of us....myself included.

I do not want this board to degenerate into a mudslinging fest.

Matt, I know you gotta stick by your guns on this and are refusing to let up one inch, kinda like one of those dogs that get ahold of something and just won't let go! I could say be the bigger man and stop...and same with Steveg....but that doesn't seem possible.

Myself, I'll just browse through this forum until it gets settled down and concentrate on the other ones...like the OSX one

Stan, Misha..how about some moderation? Or some input please..would be nice to hear what you all think.

Thanks.

I'll buy that (which is why I haven't posted to that thread since yesterday noon). The "push shove" stuff was just a silly attempt to get a little levity back into the day. But if it's a problem, it's gone.

I just hope that people will stop dragging that thing back to page one.

The "push shove" stuff was just a silly attempt to get a little levity back into the day. But if it's a problem, it's gone.

Nice try, but the push/shove thing was a childish spam barrage for your kicks and nothing more.

Do you rhumba? Excellent! Now pick a rhumba and sit down.. GM

In reply to:

cause you are the only two interested in it.

And you know this because... ???

And now I'm a "MacCentral dropout" as well... I thought you had more intelligence than that... guess I was wrong.

"ATTENTION: DO NOT RESPOND"

What are you afraid of? Someone might disagree with your childish tactics and desperate efforts to sweep the dirty laundry under the carpet (forcing a thread off of the first page)? You're a real piece of work Gizmo!

MACCENTRAL SPAMMERS, can I suggest that you and the girls dial some of this stuff back a bit. Some of it is becoming offensive, and a number of folks in here are getting annoyed. This is the MacMinute Reader Cafe, and to a large extent, anything goes. But a little respect and forethought couldn't hurt. Your posts are usually fine, but lately, you girls have been a wee bit over the top in some threads, and some folks have started taking offense. I'd rather take it to you and the girls publicly, because I don't have to tell you how some of you just love to jump into a good flame war whether it has anything to do with reality or not.

I hope you take this as freindly advice, because it's not meant any other way.

Do you rhumba? Excellent! Now pick a rhumba and sit down.. GM
Point is that the thread is old and became pointless after a few pages. Besides that thread belongs over at MC and not at MM. I was shocked to even see it here on this board.

Lets just kill it and move onto better threads.

Just my 2 cents

You are awesome!

On an interesting note.... I received a private message from Bukk warning me about Mattmac and bganey. It seems I've stood up for them too much. Hmm... gettum while their "newbies" and plant the seed of bullying??

In reply to:

Lets just kill it and move onto better threads.

And you feel it the duty of a few individuals to 'kill' it because... ???

And vomiting meaningless drivel all over the forum is in your opinion "better threads" ???

How foolish of me to think otherwise!
