it's a place I work at...private boys home that operates solely on donations. it's for teens (12-18), males, from abusive homes. We are not associated with any church/charity organization...though the person that started it back in 1950 was a priest.

You know, I volunteered at a boys home once... it was a great place. I have a feeling that there is probably one located close to everyone, if we looked for it.

Private "Homes" for orphans, or runaways, or abused kids are a great charity... finding them is the hard part.... ask the local churches if they know of one close to you if you're interested in finding one. ... Which most aren't affiliated with churches, I know that they'd accept dontations from church groups, so that might be a good starting place.

***
"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left."
-- Ecclesiastes 10:2
