I wrote before about Mom's B&W G3. http://www.macminute.com/cgi-bin/wwwthre...&Main=74286
Tonight we finally got to the installation of the card. We are not sure we did it right and the computer whirrs but the screen remains black and will not start up. Can anyone tell from the pictures here if we did this right?

another view from the side

The last of the human freedoms is to choose one's attitudes. -Victor Frank

Can't get it to start up and it doesn't seem to need drivers. It says in the instructions to use Apple's Disk Utility. It has a new drive that needs initialized so I was starting it up from the CD. But I can't get anything to come up on the screen. Looks like I am going to have to contact our IT guy and then call a repair shop.

The last of the human freedoms is to choose one's attitudes. -Victor Frank
