Been doing a lot of reading the past week (I took vacation in addition to the July 4th holidays), and was able to catch-up on a lot of reading ... of which one of the books was Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, a fictional piece based on much factual evidence about the history of such groups as the Knights Templar, the existence of and search for the Holy Grail, and of the development of Christianity as an established religion ...

VERY entertaining read which is able to summarize the evidence brought forth in such other books as Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The Messianic Legacy in a much more accessible way, as well as being an entertaining foray into cryptography, anagrams, riddles, and the like ...

Fascinating stuff ... a definite recommendation from me!

=)

***matt

(also posted on MC)

"Nothing says 'obey me!' like a bloody head on a fencepost ..."
