Chandra was KNOWN to jog in this park. It occurred to NO ONE to look in it?

from what I understand, that area was searched, yet nothing was found ...

seems to me a plausible explanation could be that (assuming there was foul play) her body could have been buried/concealed and later dug up by animals (hence the distibution of her remains) thus making it easier to be found by passersby at a later date (today) ...

But until there is more information, I'll reserve judgement =)

***matt

Police did search the park for over 3 weeks and found nothing. Also, the guy and dog that found the remains were off of the normal park area looking for turtles.

Ryan
I only just learned they had looked there. Still, I find it hard to believe they couldn't find her their and this guy and his pooch did, unless she wasn't there to be found until recently..

Do you rhumba? Excellent! Now pick a rhumba and sit down.. GM
Why don't you read the whole news story before making some half-ass topic, eh NTO1?

Here, let me help you:

In reply to:

from here:http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/05/22/levy.body/index.html
Levy's remains were found in Rock Creek Park after a man searching for turtles in "a very inaccessible area" was alerted to the remains by his dog, Ramsey said. The park is not far from where Levy lived, and she was known to jog there

Last summer, police conducted an extensive search of the park without finding Levy

Ramsey said it is too soon to know if Levy's body was there at the time, nor do investigators yet know whether she died at the scene or was killed elsewhere and placed in the park.

He also said it is too soon to know if the body was buried, although he said there was no indication of a grave

There, that answers your questions. Now, had you asked about Condit and his strange actions, then we could discuss something.

Why don't you read the whole news story before making some half-ass topic, eh NTO1?

Actually, I had watched the story on TV at various times throughout the day, and none of those stories mentioned any of these angles.

Too bad I'm not as gifted and polite a poster as you. Don't worry, from now on, I'll try to be just like you. It would be cool to be a rude little %uck like you.

Cheers

Do you rhumba? Excellent! Now pick a rhumba and sit down.. GM

why is it that everyone seems to take all of these comments so personally? and why aren't we all a little more polite to each other?

Statistics are like a bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.
-- Aaron Levenstein
