If you have a Mac capable of using Quartz Extreme, the apps work quite well and don't slow down your Mac for casual stuff like eMail, web browsing, typing, etc. If you do a lot of CPU intensive work, I'd avoid them.<br><br>ScreenEffects, I believe, is the one I have installed on my G4 733 - it works very well.<br><br>
It looked sweet on my dual 1.25 with 512ram but kinda slowed everything down since it was running on dual monitor.... It definetly impressed my boss though! Still, too slow to work with it running! Now my background is pure black because of "BackgroundSaver" and I can't get my original baground back! I'm gonna try to restart once one of my downloads is done!
