Boy, your prayers were answered. It's raining like crazy at the moment. Heavy winds too. We live in the 9th floor of our apartment building. Rain, rain everywhere!

Krasni, sorry, you don't seem to understand Indian economics. India is mostly made up of middle-class people, and the most populated generation are teenagers. You just can't go about calling an entire state poor. Andhra Pradesh is actually one of the richest states. IT education and services is the hot stuff there.

Yoyo, yeah, I remember reading about Bush kicking out some scientist for falsely spreading rumors about global warming or something. Know anything about that?

--
I am Dyslexic of Borg. Fusistance is retile. Your a$$ will be laminated.

That's true, I don't understand that much about Indian economics. Thought Rajasthan, Kerala and Kashmir were the more industrialized states. I've been in Kerala two years ago.
This is me with friends in Kerala (I'm the one with the sari).
http://homepage.mac.com/krasni/.Pictures/sari1.jpg

Down here in Southern California we have had a lot of heat related deaths of illegal aliens from Mexico crossing the desert from Baja California into the US. It can get incredibly hot out there in the summer, probably 140 F in direct sun or more. I recall a few years ago a good number of Mexican soldiers died in the desert south of Mexicali due to extreme heat. There were also some close calls when the X Games were held here in San Diego several years ago. That time one of the events was to get from San Felipe, BC to San Diego by foot, horse, kayak, etc., and they had to cross that same desert section where the Mexican soldiers died. Extremely hostile environment. Lived for 2 years in the Palm Springs area, let me tell you it teaches you to respect extreme heat and take appropriate precautions.
