Hope you all had a great time today and spent it with your mom (if you still have her around). My mom is 90 years old and generally speaking not doing badly for a woman her age. She lives in a retirement home, but we try to take her out as often as we can for a change of scenery. Being around old people all the time can get you down I guess. So we had a lovely San Diego day, drove down the Del Dios Highway which cuts through Rancho Santa Fe (think Douglas Fairbanks, lots of very rich people in the area) on the way to Del Mar. Then up the coast for some lunch. Further up the coast checking out the ocean and people. Really lovely weekend here and the first really warm one we have had in a long time. It's about 89F (32C) here today, which is rather unusual for Oceanside, which normally stays in the 70s or low 80s. Anyway, perfect Mother's Day weather, hope you all had time for your mom too today.

Thanks carp. My day started with breakfast at McDonalds then on to visit my mother inlaw then my mom. We returned home where my daughter prepared a feast of Prime Rib for me. It was a great day.

Hah! I gave her this picture in a frame, yesterday and the promise of a G3 tower for a gift. She needs a little bigger screen than an iMac.

Plus sent her an Apple iCard today with a sentiment that she claims made her cry.

Cheers, iRock
Drawing is the honesty of the art.
