System Preferences -> International -> Time

Will let you select your region and time preferences - including 12- and 24-hour clocks ...

I don't know why, but sometimes by system switches to 24-hour time as well =P

Anyways, hope that helped!

=)

***matt

you can also turn off the menu bar clock and download PTH Clock from versiontracker. It will give you the clock back, as well as a nice little calendar when you double click it. It sits right up in the menubar like the Apple one, but it doesn't revert to 24-hour mode like Apple's seems to do on its own.

[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis

i may do that...b/c i can't seem to find desktopcalendar and the version i have didn't make the jump from my old computer to me new computer. darn it...i loved it. i know i downloaded it from version tracker, but it's nowhere to be seen now. hmmm. weird.

[color:blue] -sean
I have tried several "calendar" apps in OSX (all of which can be found here) But I chose PTH Clock because it sits in the menu bar out of the way until I need it and the calendar feature is a drop-down from the menu with a simple double click.

[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis

I've been using MenuCalendar since 10.1 came out. It's freeware and is out of the way until you need it.

And that's true too.--Shakespeare, King Lear

I'm also using menu calendar, but only started to just recently. I'm in love with it... finally, don't have to open entourage, just to see a calendar... nice.

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)
