I found the Wayback machine:

http://web.archive.org/web/20010515061605/http://www.macminute.com/

Who'd have guessed that macminute.com was that significant to garner a quick snapshot almost immediately after being launched...

speaks pretty well for Stan's pull if you ask me... what's your coolest Wayback find?

http://www.archive.org/index.html

Let us know...

"Great necessities call out for great virtues."
--Abigail Adams
Well, all you had to do was go to MacMinute's homepage, scroll all the way down, choose the last option from the drop down menu and voila!

Yeah, kidding, I know what you meant. ;)

--
I am dangerous. I am Dyslexic of Borg. Fusistance is retile. Your a$$ will be laminated.
Whatever happened to this item? Is it anywhere close to being reality? (Hint: the correct answer begins with the letter "N".)

John
[color:red]I don't...
Unfortunately, the AIM alliance had a falling out, and Moto restricts IBM to chips that cannot sell faster than their own. Plus, they won't license AltiVec to IBM - and Apple loves AltiVec. It's really sad, because I believe IBM could easily blow the doors off Moto, but they have no reason to spend the money now since they are stuck making G3 chips... sad.

[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis

i dunno... my friend at Moto still speaks of doom days... and little recovery for them... so who knows, maybe IBM's just waiting to buy them out when the time is right... or maybe not...

"Great necessities call out for great virtues."
--Abigail Adams
