Yeah the pace has picked up again over at MC. I am sorry to see people abandoning this board, I really liked it here when there is something going on. I find it too time consuming over at MC to go through all the threads sometimes. Although recently I did change my display prefs to collapsed, so that makes it easier to pick out the threads you are interested in and those that you could care less about. That saves time. But, I plan to keep visiting here too. So now I have even another board that I will be visiting on a daily basis at 986board.com (986 is the model designation of the Boxster). Sure is a timesaver to have tabbed browsing sets for stuff like this. I have tab sets now for Macintosh stuff, Boxster stuff, sailing, work, news, bank/finance. Great way to get around. I only wish there were more hours in the day to do all of this stuff. It is hard to keep up with things sometimes.

Now that our weather is better I will be spending more time doing outdoor things. Still checking in here and mc when I can. As far as MC, the lounge is not as active as I remember GD to be.

True the lounge gets less posts than GD used to get over at MC. But, if you combine the numbers from both GD and the lounge, it is quite busy over there. I still don't get the whole point of that change except that some purists wanted it like that.

i've been noticing, too. i check the news page about once an hour or two, but only pop in here about 3 times a day, which seems to be about right for keeping up. i happen to like being able to keep up, but i wouldn't mind a few more posts.

i am thinking of making an iMovie to share later this week. just a little get to you type thing. we'll see.

[color:blue] -sean
I've noticed it as well, sorry, but I've got a job that requires me to actually work during the day (unlike some I know), so I just can't spend all day in these forums, or any others...

I like these forums, because at the end of the day I can catch up, which is impossible at most other forums, just wish more folks would stop in and say hi...

"Great necessities call out for great virtues."
--Abigail Adams
The lounge over at MC is moving at a pretty fast pace... usually around 200 or more posts a day with around 80 to 100 new threads per day. It's just at the edge of "do-able, and out of control" - I like it here, I can skip a day and still catch up in less than a half hour.

I suppose the lack of new posts here is due to "spring" and the nice weather, also the lack of anything going on in the Mac community.

[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis

There's still some decent activity here. The sudden bombardment a while back was understandably a remote incident. But many of us that joined will continue to check in here on a daily basis. And once the whole mosaic project is at an end, many of us will have more time to visit the café.

[color:red]Alec
