I had one of those days with IE that are so frustrating. The spinning beach ball--or whatever you want to call it--every time I started up the app. Usually I can force quit and restart IE, and after a couple of times of doing that, the spinning ball will go away. Today, I must have quit a dozen times abnd the damned thing wouldn't behave. So I've decided to stop using IE. Mozilla is fast, renders well (usually), is stable, and doesn't give me spinning beach balls. I'll miss the autofill feature in IE, which I've grown to depend on more and more--but I guess you can't have everything in life.<br><br>And that's true too.--Shakespeare, King Lear

an alternative it to call a 1-800 number and provide the same information...do you think it is any safer? <br><br>a real person answers on the 1-800 call to take the order...a computer stores your online purchase. i feel safer shopping from reputable dealers online (macwarehouse and amazon get most of my business). privacy smivacy...what's there to know that someone can't find out one way or another? i use different passwords and usernames on each site and a mac.com email address that is not my main email for all shopping. i always use my place of employment (university office) address for online shopping and my office phone number. <br><br>so some people know the products i buy...i have nothing to hide. i like less that the local grocery store tracks what i buy with a little card that they swipe (i have to use it to get discounts). oh well. it's all used aggregately.<br><br>[color:blue] -sean</font color=blue>
