“Republicans, clinging to a 23-seat majority in the House, have made the House minority leader a central element of their attack ads and are portraying many of their opponents as inextricably tied to the liberal from San Francisco. At the same time, some Democrats are expressing alarm that she is standing in the way of the next generation of leaders.”—
Sorry, Nancy! But it’s time for a change!

I AGREE - think it's time for NEW Democratic leadership... the current leaders failed us MISERABLY in 2016... (and before) !! frown

Maybe that's Juan Castro... maybe Joe Biden... or Cory Booker... WTF knows ! . . .but there needs to be new blood or there could be more blood letting on the blue side !! eek

Course realize NO MATTER WHO gets the Dem leadership , the orange dingle-berry will be slamming, condemning, and tweeting about them. "They want open borders, more crime, more abortions,,,, more drugs and prostitution in the streets..." ALL LIES ! but it won't stop the slander machine ...

Hope it doesn't work... that's why I think Biden might be the best bet as a candidate. He's a solid track record... working man 's working man... average, humble, honest,...

Can't say that with many.

I agree - the Dems did NOT push back hard on the GOP and Trumplodytes and Congressional Neanderthals (Gowdy, Nunes, etc) when they villainized Pelosi and Hillary... yes they're not perfect- they ARE human, but the same bastids totally overlook those faults and WORSE in their own... esp the orange A-hole. One reason the Dems LOST was because of that they let the GOP make them both look far worse than they ever were and didn't vehemently counter all those lame charges - ONE by ONE as they arose. They can't sit by in 2020 and repeat the same mistakes.

Maybe if they'd tweeted at 3 AM more often they'd have WON !! whistle

Although it would suck to become as "deplorable"
...rising above their level certainly hasn't worked.

mmmm by The COMMENTS
I'd point out that I'm
Not-The-Only-One seeing it

howzis?

When THE Orange Sphincter crept-up behind Hilary
(in fact, invades any female candidate's space)
..she should have turned and admonished him;
"If you can't conduct yourself like an adult
THEN GO OVER THERE AND STAND IN THE CORNER!" smirk

I guess as both an Italian AND A Woman
I have quite a bit to say on the subject...

I "GOT" The *"PEL-O-SI" Dig from the get go. smirk
just ANOTHER denigrative racial/nationalist SLUR
...and it don't take a holehellovalot of thought
to sus-out the misogynistic angle .. now does it?

* Her biggest fault is having an ethnic name so simple &
memorable that it just sorta' "Rolls-Off" an idiot's tongue:

Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si
Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si
Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si
Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si ~ Pel~0~si

It's The Perfect HANDLE For Any BULLY To Grab Onto.

It's beyond me why anyone would buy-into this schoolyard
BS & not turn it around and beat him over the head with it!

Pelosi and Schumer are worthless. They need to step back and let someone with a spine take over.

Agreed. And someone needs to shake up the apparent ‘paralytic state’ the leadership is in. mad
