I voted today.. ...and was appalled to be the only one there.
I spent the AM @ my PCP in Passaic and asked the Medical Transport Driver drop me off at my designated polling site.
I asked everyone in the doctor's office (including the doctor, her nurses, office staff, fellow patients, even the drivers of the medical transport coming & going, if any of them intended to vote that day... not one of them... black/white/brown/male/female/old and young, not one of them! My voting station was located @ The Community/Senior Citizen Center I'm a member, so felt comfortable asking any and all of the "Blue Hairs" ......nup...... and they all stared at me as if I had two (or more) heads.
I'd heard the expression "People get the politicians they deserve" all my life, but it wasn't until today that I finally understood exactly what that meant.
