Apparenly that party is filled with slugs!
Why are so many of them calling it quits?
Are they afraid of officially being sent ‘home’ in November?
As to Sen. Durbin, one of our (conservative) papers finally ran an article about that meeting. And they actually had the audacity to mention and quote Sen. Durbin:
“In the course of (Trump's) comments, he said things that were hate-filled, vile and racist," the Illinois senator said Friday. "l use those words advisingly, I understand how powerful they are. I cannot believe that in the history of the White House and that Oval Office any president has ever spoken the words that I personally heard our president speak yesterday."

But, of course, Durbin is a Democrat. And we all know they are lying all the time, just like “Lügenpresse” (fake, lying media). grin

Evidently party affiliation influences ones hearing and/or comprehension ability or capacity:

“Durbin, the sole Democrat to attend the Oval Office meeting, told reporters Friday that Trump had used the vulgar word “not just once but repeatedly.” A Republican attendee, Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (S.C.), issued a statement that did not specifically confirm the words used but backed up Durbin’s account.

Cotton (R-Arkansas) and Perdue (R-Georgia) issued a joint statement Friday saying that they did “not recall the President saying these comments specifically.” But Perdue told Stephanopoulos definitively Sunday that Trump did not refer to “sh!thole” countries: “I’m telling you he did not use that word, George.”

I've not only been off the web
but also without a TV, radio nor
any other source of news (not even
a newspaper) and in a very real sense
it was a blessing not to see Agent Orange
every 5 minutes in the past nearly a month..

So the first I heard of this tripe was from my
Dominican Republic visiting nurse...

Made me wanna find a deep crack in my hardwood floor
...and jump into it.

Well Graham all but confirmed it with his response... Cotton and Perdue are just sucking up to Trump' s%#t-hole !! It's 6 to 1 ... HOW do you think they'd like to spin it? ..other than he said- they said ?? sick

It's readily apparent (& has been > 1 year) that DT is a pathological LIAR and most of the GOP is also.... to cover his fat orangie azz !!
They've made pacts with Beelzebub.... and there's NO turning back. He'll burn their already blackened - charred souls !! whistle

It's not all bad news though... when he finally crashes and burns (and he WILL) - he takes the whole FKing GOP "leadership" with him !! grin

Of course, Durbin is now a liar:
“Senator Dicky Durbin totally misrepresented what was said," Trump wrote in a tweet.”—-

”Misrepresented”?

Really?

Senator Durbin was sitting right next to Trump.
But apparently Democrats just hear things differently.
