Doan go orgasmic on us yet Mike.... lots of water under the bridge between then and now. HOWEVER, this does look encouraging... at least 1/2 weren't fooled and can think rationally!! For Alabama, that's like the class CLOWN getting an A+ on a TERM PAPER !!
YES - IF tax plan or the economy stumbles, or we get into a shooting war... or Trump comes under indictment.... they'll be in deep doodoo !!
BUT if the economy picks up, jobs increase... they could lose some seats but with minimal damage. Maybe lose Senate and keep the house.
.... lots of water under the bridge between then and now.
Sure seems likely Democrats will sweep both houses in midterms of 2018. Yet the fallout of every single destructive act congress has taken from January 2017 to January 2019 will then be blamed on the democrats, specifically the $1.5T that will be added to the deficit. Count on it.
And speaking of a ‘shooting war’, our orange dude in DC is itching for a fight with yet another power:
”On Tuesday, Trump signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act for the 2018 fiscal year, which authorizes the possibility of mutual visits by navy vessels between Taiwan and the United States. “China previously threatened to go to war the same day the US Navy visits Taiwan.”
Apparently, China sees a visit by our navy to Taiwan as a clearly violation of the ‘One China’ agreement.
