Looking into changing carriers.... AT&T has gotten too pricey and NO discounts even if you been with them since Alexander Graham Bell founded the damned company !!
I can get a new iPhone 8 Plus for about $600 from Sprint (they'll give me $350 credit for old iPhone 6) ... problem is in my area they're coverage isn't solid. BUT it is in many cities (even Tyler and Lindale) and along major highway corridors. However get out in the countryside and you may go dark !! Course there's always WiFi to connect through IF you can find a Free Link.
So will you be "empty nested " next year? That's always strange because they've been with ya for 17-18 years !! Part of Life though !
Loc: Louisville, KY
I can tell you right now...do NOT switch to Sprint. They absolutely suck, even in areas where they supposedly have good signal. We had them, after switching from ATT for the reason you give, and now we switched to Verizon. So far am happy with them.
Actually, Dustin's only been in my life for 13 years.
