I just read what David Letterman said: "Hereís what I keep saying: We know thereís something wrong, but what Iím tired of is people ― daily, nightly, on all the cable news shows ― telling us thereís something wrong. I just think we ought to direct our resources and our energies to doing something about it. And other people have made this point: If the guy was running Dairy Queen, heíd be gone. This guy couldnít work at The Gap. So why do we have to be victimized by his fecklessness, his ignorance? But itís just the behavior is insulting to Americans, whether you voted for him or not ― and I feel bad for people who did vote for him because he promised them things that they really needed and one wonders if heís really going to come through. I know thereís trouble in this country and we need a guy who can fix that trouble. I wish it was Trump, but itís not, so letís just stop whining about what a goon he is and figure out a way to take him aside and put him in a home.ď
Bill Maher this week equated Trump to the "city slicker" that fooled all the country folks... The guy was from NYC,,, previously a Dem... promised all those simple minded, country folks to "Trust him!".... "WHAT do you have TO LOSE?"
Well they just got fleeced and snookered just like Trump was PT Barnum!
And being a "city mouse"... Trump felt more comfortable with city mice like Pelosi and Reid, than with country folks like McConnell (KY), Ryan (OH), and Sessions (AL). Maher said when Trump watched "The Beverly Hillbillies" he rooted for Mr. Drysdale ! ... funny man !
