. George was bragging to his boss one day about knowing everyone there is to know.
“Name someone, anyone, and I know them."
Tired of his boasting, his boss called his bluff. "OK, George, how about Brad Pitt?" George replied: "Sure, we attended the same Prep School!” George insists they fly out to Hollywood to visit Brad Pitt. Sure enough, upon seeing his old friend Brad shouts: "GEORGE! Great to see you! You and your friend come right in and join me for lunch!"
Although impressed, George's boss is still sceptical, saying that George knowing Brad Pitt was just a fluke.
George persists; "No, really, just name anyone else."
His boss says; "The President of the United States!" "Yes," George says, "I know him, let's fly out to Washington." And off they go. At the White House, The President spots George on the tour and motions him and his boss over, saying, "George! what a surprise, I was just on my way to a meeting, but you and your friend come on in and let's have a cup of coffee first and catch up."
Somewhat shaken, but still not totally convinced, his boss tries again; "His Holiness, The Pope!" "Sure!" says George. "My folks are from Argentina, and I've known him for years." So (you guessed it) off they fly to Rome.
They were assembled with the masses in Vatican Square when George says, "This’ll never work. I can't catch the Pope's eye among all these people. Tell you what, I know all the guards, I’ll go upstairs and out on the balcony with the Pope." And he disappears.
Sure enough, minutes later George emerges with the Pope on the balcony, but by the time George returns, he finds that his boss had passed out and is surrounded by paramedics.
Working his way to his boss's side, George asks, "What happened?" His boss looks up and says, "I was doing fine until you and the Pope came out on the balcony and the man next to me said, pointing: "Who the heck's that?” and I said, “WHAT!? You don’t know George!?" ...and the guy said; “Naw.. Not George... The OTHER Guy!”
