Okay here's a fairly easy one for some of you guys, I hope... so I'm getting this message that I need the latest version of Flash Player to run Betfair videos... System Preferences tell me that the "PPAPI Plug-in is not installed" then when I select 'install' it goes through the motions apparently without actually installing it and then goes off at a tangent at page 2 of 3 with "here's another product you might be interested in" (no) and at page 3 tries to direct me to "Free Adobe Stock Images" - and then at the end of all that I'm back to where I started.

What version of the OS and what browser?

If it's Google Chrome it has its own built in Flash.

Thanks Reboot... running OS Sierra 10.12.02 and Safari 10.0.2 on a vintage iMac... there's something very odd going on at the moment in my setup - so I sourced another Flash Player link which enabled me to install but only on a disused Apple password - but it still doesn't play - not in Betfair anyway... seems to play alright on YouTube and the BBC which presumably use Flash for video output? But WTF's going on with passwords all of a sudden? Oh, Happy New Year by the way - to one and all.

Flash is disabled in Sierra. Supposedly, a drop down will ask if you want to use it, if no HTML5 is found. Sometimes clicking on the "Get Flash" button will work, sometimes refreshing the page will work, sometimes I get a blank player, and/or a spinning progress wheel. Sometimes, it actually just works!

That explains it - thanks... how do I access the Safari option to use Flash though?

It's hit or miss, and very annoying. I use Firefox, if I really want to see a video that won't play.
