I'm trying to log onto my PowerMac G5 from my Windows 7 machine, and as far as I can tell, everything is set up to be shareable on the G5. When I type in the username and password, it pops up with another (or the same, I'm not sure which) box that asks for the username and password.

I just verified my login name and password on the G5, and I type them in, but nothing!!

Help??

As far as your networking issues try this link first.

You'll wan't to read it all, but in particular take note under the Windows 7 and Windows Vista part, about half way down. Section 3. Look for where its explaining "LAN Manager Authentication Level"

Here's another to check out.

There's a lot in this link too.

If you can't figure it out from the stuff above stop back. We'll try a bigger hammer.

Anywhere but the "Site Feedback & Issues" forum you put this in. grin The owner gets an email notice everytime a post is made there. I moved this to Networking, since it's about networking. smirk No problem. smile
