Set up the AppleTV this AM, but the remote launches Front Row on my wife's MacMini located in the same room. How can I stop that other than simply covering the IR sensor on the Mini?

*chuckles*

Good question.. it used to happen to me if I had an iMac on the dining room table, which occasionally I do.

System Preferences, Security and Privacy, General tab, Advanced button, check mark Disable remote control infrared receiver.

Also go to the App Store on the phone, search for Remote. You can use your iPhone for a remote. It's a lot nicer when typing things in for example, the keyboard comes up so you don't have to do use the onscreen click click click back down up etc onscreen keyboard.

I blocked the receiver for now. I'll look at the Prefs when I have the chance later. Getting ready to go to work now. Thanks!
