Zia Records has been around for decades here. I remember taking all my cassette tapes in for trade-in dollars to buy CDs. Plus, they have the best collection of obscure music you can find, if you're into that sort of thing.

Which store were you at? Tempe, Camelback or Thunderbird location?

Speaking of record stores, the Foo Fighters played in one recently in Niles Ohio.

I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca, Az for a year. LOVED it. Wish I was back there now.

I think it was camelback.

I lived in record stores in my youth.
Valley Records in Mill Valley, CA was a magnet for emerging talent at the time.
I met Elvis Costello, Huey Lewis, and many others, just there to find old LP's.

My favorites were Tower Records in SF, and The Record Factory in San Rafael.
George Thorogood showed up one day, and played for about an hour before they kicked him out.

Good times…

Well Zia didn't have exactly what I was looking for. They didn't have Blondie, the Eagles, Joan Jett or the Runaways. Those are the highest on my list and I can't order on eBay.
