Have to get around to getting one of those soon. Was waiting for the dust to settle. grin

They seemed to have fixed a lot of the slowness on my 4S with iOS 8.1.2. I'm such a cheap bastige and the battery still goes the day unless I'm a Chatty Cathy so I've been in no hurry.

I do remote in to clients occasionally through the phone so the extra screen space would be nice. Guess I should pull the trigger.

True. I whined but I had spent the last 8 years or so learning to service OS 7-9, so I had to retrain myself. I got over it. grin

I have to admit, though, they did some pretty stupid stuff in the dumbing down of things like iMovie, etc.

I'm still using this one:

I've had the opportunity to try to use later versions, but I found them to be user unfriendly at the least.

I also have this version as a fall back:

They dumbed down Pages 5 also, they give it as a free upgrade in Mavericks from v.4 but...

I've reverted quite few people back to iWork '09.

:P

a forum is one thing, but to write a blog for others to read then it should be more professional IMO.

BTW Jim and Curtis,
I meant to say that I don't think that Apple's products and software are perfect by any means. I have run into glitches too...one that continually bugs me is rotating the iPhone 6 from portrait to landscape and how the screen doesn't move. I end up having to turn it back, tap it on the screen, and then rotate it.

That hasn't happened on my 6+. Sometimes, it is a little too quick to rotate and I'm looking at things sideways. laugh

This is now the official Rotten Apple Software thread. All that money and they can't just make it work, like the Jeff Goldblum ads touted.

I signed up here because they offer 50G free as compared to DropBox.

When I go to the web interface I see this.

Safari lacks the HTML5 features MEGA relies on to perform client-side in-browser cryptography. HTML5 file transfers will be emulated through a very limited Flash workaround. Please consider upgrading to a modern browser at your earliest convenience.

So with probably 200B in the bank they still don't have a secure modern browser, serious?

Rotten Apple Software.

Not user error, not third-party errors, I'm talking bugs in Apple's software, watering them down, and then not releasing a finished/modern product. Why is it you use an older iMovie.

They probably have 200B in cash. Spend some of that on a world class R&D department they could brag about.

I'll post more here as they come up in my travels. smirk

And there's the irony. Steve said that Flash was a big bag of hurt. But Safari still doesn't support HTML 5. WTF?
