For some reason, my new 6+ is not retrieving email from my Earthlink POP account (neither is iCloud.com). Did iOS8 disable POP accounts?

If not, how can I enable this account via iCloud and my iPhone? It is listed on my iPhone, but the phone does not retrieve the mail. I don't see a way to delete the account and then reestablish it. It's not a deal breaker since 99% of my email is via my mac.com address.

I found it. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tapped on the Earthlink account, scrolled to bottom to Delete Account. I then added it back. It's working now.

You have to watch, there is step in setup to choose IMAP or POP. It's easy to click past.

For some reason, it lost its connectivity when I restored from backup to the new 6+. It automatically configured it correctly when I added it back.

Restoring from backups is flaky for lots of people. It's really better to just sync all your contact info, notes, etc., but reinstall and reconfigure everything—even though it's a pain in the arse!
