They didn't mention it in the article but it is very similar to a Clovis point. Several years ago, the Nelson Art Gallery in Kansas City had an exhibit called Two Thousand years of North American Art. There were two gentlemen in suits who were obviously very knowledgeable about the subject. I stayed by their side throughout the whole exhibit and listened to their commentary.
