Recently.. I've been offered $12.00 a sandwich by the Spanish Guys Ted works with who rave over the sangies Ted's taken to work for his lunch.
They claim they're The BEST Cubanos they've EVER Had!
PROBLEM: One only need check the Self Rising Thread to see the amount of sheer work that goes into the prep to get that $12 might cover the cost of the ingredients... but certainly NOT the Labor on a reasonably paying basis.
anyway... that's kinda' what made e question the type of pickle traditionally used... ...while they all claim that it's DILL... I questioned this on the basis that not only is DILL natively an Eastern European "weed", but that (at least to my taste) ...it clashes with my Harissa Sauce.
Hey McDonalds started out with a lousy hamburger.... When someone likes your sangie that much you should wallow in that kind of compliment In my neck of the woods Praise beats a sharp stick in the eye over a bad recipe any day of the week.... and I've dodged a few of them with my cooking skills in the kitchen
