The routine goes back years and years...at least back to the mid 1800's vaudeville show circuit...no one knows who thunked it up...it has been modified to localize the story, I have used it since at least 1985 in various forms....I am lost in the past...I still do baggie pants vaudeville style stand up...which is what most of the country music show comedians do...just dont know it
I saw a special maybe a month ago about the History of Burlesque with older women discussing every aspect of the 5 or 6 shows a day & night spent as strippers... from the costumes, routines, music, lighting, dressers travel, & comics, especially The TOP BANANA!
it was a real H00T
