1). I was being threatened by an overly-officious moderator who'd "had enough" of the way I participated in the 'box.
2). Facebook came along at about the same time.
I don't like overly-officious people and facebook gave me the same sense of freedom this place once had ... so, wasn't a hard choice.
And I do miss the free-wheeling days here where someone could tell me to f'off and I could tell them to shove it up their 'a ss' ...and then share friendly comments on a different topic a few hours later.
I see it still goes on...but the overly-officious rules only applied to me...and as the saying goes: ain't nobody got time for 'dat.
