In our new house last night. It's very nice. It will take us forever to settle down, though. Where is . . . --that's our new way of saying hi to each other.

No kids here--Carlos is all grown up and down in 'lanta. He's having medical problems right now, with something like gastroenteritis, and the medical coverage is a problem because he's under his mom's policy, which is here in PA. But he'll get over it. Now, about the cat, who is constantly meowing in forlorn hope of going back to familiar territory. That's a different story.

It'll take 10 days to 2 weeks for the cat to adjust. That's how long it took ours 2 years ago when we moved back to Texas ! My poor wife had to drive 12 hours with him in the van howling !! Lucky for me the cage wouldn't fit in my car !!

BINGO!
Your cat will adjust in time if its a house cat. Took mine a good 3 months. No place to hide (my cat is a non-social aggressive s.o.b. that sneaks attack strangers) until I set up a corner space with just his stuff. Now he hides in his carrier, takes his paw to flip the top down. I lock him in it when strangers are around.
