Oh, I'll be upgrading my phone soon enough. I just won't be first in line for iOS8. wink

I actually got the 4 at first then after thinking about it for a couple of days took it back to get the 4S.

IMO when it comes to tech purchases trying to save a small amount up front by buying old technology doesn't pay off in the long run.

At the time that I got my 4, it was 2 generations old. It cost me $50 and it has been a really good phone. I'm up for an upgrade, but I'm going to wait for the 6 release to decide on a 6 or a discounted 5s.

I have Yosemite dev preview on my 2011 MBAir and it's pretty cool. Many of the features aren't there yet, or don't work yet, but you can definitely see what the future is bringing. I like it.

What I DON'T like is the killing off of iPhoto. It's not that I love iPhoto, in fact I hate it. But not knowing much at all about the new Photos app NOW, makes me a bit uneasy. This isn't like they're killing off Pages - where I could simply save all those documents as text files or Word docs. This is over a decade of family photos, carefully edited and organized.

I just hope Photos isn't half baked at introduction.
If they are combining Aperture and iPhoto, they had better have an easy way to import from both apps without losing ANY information.
If it doesn't work perfectly right off the bat, there will be a mass exodus to the competition.

Yosemite is looking pretty cool, though!
