Newark, NJ is the carjacking capital of the US & possibly the world. A lot of the dealerships there include guns with the purchase of an auto.
The high end auto dealerships in Pa do the same also. In Philly, they will complete the gun permit paperwork for you if you do not own one.
In South Jersey, you have to take a gun firing course at one of the state police barricks. Take your certificate to the dealership for your free gun & bullets. From what I heard, the certificate is good in Pa too!!!! laugh

Didn't mention anything about road rage but , instead, mentioned offering classes and training and camping supplies along with a handgun if wanted. Sounds good to me. Just as good as any other promotion.

It'd be interesting, if there were any statistics on how many people (read: men) with concealed carry licenses go on shooting rampages. I doubt such statistics exist. I am sure if any of these "people" did have a conceal license it would have made the news.

Somebody has their Literal Hat on today.

Sounds like a good idea? Really? Gee, maybe I can drop by the local gun shop, buy a Glock and get me free Ford with driving lessons included?

Tell my why guns can't simply be acquired as a straight ahead purchase from an arms retailer? Why do instruments of violence — and DO NOT throw out that self-defense crap — have to be used as an incentive to purchase something altogether unrelated?

Stupid. STUPID. STUUUUUUUPID!!!

Still extremely rare. Recently there was listed a couple of drivers on a highway shooting at each other, but even this is rare. I saw statistics earler, like five years ago, giving number of homicides dealing with carry permits being less then half percent and this included suicides.

This is homicides. Multiple shootings much less than that
