Just finished a "seminar" at the apple store...the first step in hiring process. Should find out Thursday if I go to the next step.

This was different for me cause they broke us applicants into 3 sections of 3 and the employees rotated around asking us questions. They didn't write anything down, so not sure how they will grade us.

Last Friday I had the 2nd step interview with AT&T call center. This guy wrote down everything. Not sure when I will hear from them.

Probably the Apple job, though I don't know the pay. Really all I want is part time so that I can continue going to school.

AT&T is commission based so I would probably starve there. hehe

Well, scratch AT&T out:

Your application made it through several stages of review but after careful consideration, we are moving forward with other candidates who’s qualifications more closely match the requirements of Sales Consultant.

Probably the session was video taped or recorded.

Good luck to ya!!!!

SIDEBAR: There are 3 Apple Stores near me. Each one has one or maybe two employees over the age of 50. mad The rest are wet behind the ears barely over the age of 24.

I didn't see any cameras. We were in the regular store area. They probably have security cameras but would those be good enough to record for interviews?

I turn 50 this year and am wondering how much my age has to do with the "careful considerations" that I have gotten....

You might ask them, "And those requirements are…?"
