anywho
this morning I awoke to them discussing (of all things)
"Global Climate Change" ...
with fukhead Joe loudly proclaiming how "...it was all
Al Gore's fault that the Republicans never got-on-board
...for having 'over-played his hand'..." back when there
was still time to do something to change the outcome.

Doano what they were talking about after I returned from
the bathroom, since I changed the bloody channel rather
than break the TV by throwing the remote at it.

Yeah I heard that BS too… says AG overplayed the issue… that's like being on the Titanic and saying I think we have a "little" leak !! tongue

The right is so stubborn and in denial, he could have put it on a silver platter and they wouldn't listen ! They don't want anything upsetting their $$-cart. Problem is they do nothing - mother nature will be the grim reaper not AG !! or BO !! Idiots !

Like other issues they back themselves in a corner and can't get out. Then thing turn and the look stupid ! and turn to things like Benghazi to distract everyone from their folly !! T'aint working, "McGee" !! crazy

Y'know, messaging is everything. On one hand, you've got the philistines that are totally thrown off by the term "Global Warming" and who don't know the difference btwn climate and weather. So to them, an unusually cold winter is contradictory to the facts. By the time "Climate Change" became the default nomenclature, it was too late to dispel the misperceptions.

On t'other hand, Rubio's half-witted comments earlier this week exposed — at least for me — another flaw in the articulation of the science: "Man-made".

I can understand why convincing doubters that we alone are responsible for climate change is a heavy lift. The nuance that's missing — and maybe it's not too late to go there — is that man is not singularly causing the problem, but disproportionately exacerbating what already occurs in nature and thereby accelerating the onset of the consequences.

I have to believe that if, from the beginning of this debate, it was posited that mankind is causing the climate to change in faster, more severe ways than it otherwise would, we may have seen a constructive discussion (and action) instead of the rancorous debate we're having today.

I'm just sayin'...

I have to believe (right word, cause I have no evidence) that Rubio is pandering to the nut gallery. The mealy mouthed stuff comes from the difference between what he knows is true, the science, and what he has to say to manure the nuts.

Then the man is a most unusual and unpalatable sandwich: sour grapes between slices of denial and disingenuousness. And he represents a constancy that is among the most at risk to go full submarine in the alarmingly near future! So said sandwich has a particularly hard crust.*

You're spot on in that humans merely added a critical factor
that had never been seen During HUMAN History.
We un-sequestered the Carbon that took Nature millions
of years to remove from the atmosphere, thus restoring the
climactic equilibrium, making "life as we know it" possible,
until we dug it up or sucked it out & burned it, RE-RELEASING
all that carbon in the form of Carbon Dioxide & Methane back
into the atmosphere in just 150 Years.

While there’ve been several "Extinction Events" over the
course of Geological Time... fortunately (aside from the
tail-end of the last ice-age) humans were never around to
have had to deal with it.......until now....

Once Upon A Time...

Imagine That...
...Alternative Energy Sources
HAD-BEEN Taken Seriously & Developed...
...instead of ACTIVELY QUASHED (poisoned in the womb)
and never encouraged to rise above A-Garage-Level-Industry for "weird-0s"

instead of finger-pointing at China & India as yet ANOTHER Excuse for inaction
(convincing the hee-haws that “Why Bother cleaning-up OUR Act... when Third
World Developing Countries have entered their own version of the Industrial
Revolution ...powered by Coal...” ((their only available energy source -DUH!)) )

PENNIES On the DOLLAR
we Coulda/Shoulda/Woulda developed Solar/Wind/Wave Technology and
partnered with countries with vast unemployed populations by building facilities
and training them and giving them decent working conditions and wages, thus
raising their standard of living to that of the established First World Countries,
to reduce waste by Re-Cycling Materials to Create Alternative Energy Sources,
and Agriculturally Growing Renewable Energy Crops and Healthy Organic Food
(all of which could be distributed FREELY to The People & Countries Doing the
Work That Would Be To the Benefit of The ENTIRE GLOBAL COMMUNITY!)

WIN-WIN-WIN
They are no longer desperately poor & starving, Nor Dependent Upon COAL...
WE get to Clean-Up OUR Act Finally Breaking Our Addiction to Oil, Coal, Natural
Gas & Nuclear Power Plants ...by Buying-Back AFFORDABLE Solar Panels, Wind
Turbines & Wave Action Generators to be distributed where each alternative
would best suit the terrain (Solar collectors in deserts, Turbines on the plains,
Wave Generators on both Coasts, and Turbines along the larger Rivers.)
...and still turn a profit by selling the Alt-Tech to the rest of the World...
AND ALL BY “DOING THE RIGHT (um.. LEFT) THING”...Instead of SUBSIDIZING
DORK CHANEY & THE KOCH BROES ------FOR KILLING US! ___ TA DA!

**btw... Just 4 the Record
Steve Jobs agreed with Al Gore's vision.
