Jim, I imagine you're aware, first-hand, of how the Koch Bros/Americans for Prosperity have stuck their noses into the Columbus Zoo Levy. But it looks like even the county and city Republicans are inviting the Kochs to take a long walk off a short pier.
Yeah, the Koch suckers line was that it was going to double property taxes, whereas it was actually just going to double the part that goes to the zoo. Right now on $100,000 worth of property value $20 of property taxes goes towards the zoo, the increase would've made it $41.
I know. And — shocker — AFP is doubling down on the misleading and inaccurate math. But I guess even the Conservative-oriented business community and the C of C have told them to butt out. The willful dishonesty is jaw-dropping, but SOP for these characters.
