The funniest hamster thingy I'd ever seen was my friend Pat (the guy with the Olive Eating Cat, Sebastian.) Pat also had a Hamster that he'd allow out of it's cage by putting him in an exercise ball... thus allowing the little guy cat-free virtual run of the house.
It was amazing how intelligent he was in as much as he apparently had a mental map of the entire apartment, and could negotiate turns, stops and directional changes on a dime as easy as a kid riding a "Hot Wheels" bike.
Funny as sh1t watching him go wingin' past negotiating around chairs & coffee table legs AND US while we were sitting around partying.
