Quite often lately Suitcase, upon launch, tells me it crashed last time. Any ideas? Up to date with version 15.0.6 Still having an issue with PSCS5 crashing. Could it be dragging down Suitcase with it? When I get a few minutes I will uninstall PSCS 5 since I have 6 installed also.
Loc: Petaluma, CA
I've never used Suitcase because I'm too used to my own font management (cheap), but I do miss auto activation. Thing is, I can't remember how I lost it (I think it was with Lion), or how I activated it to begin with. It just "happened".
I've used Suitcase for a bazillion years. I think since my QXP 3 days. What I like a/b Fusion is that you don't have to keep it running in the background. And the new version also displays your synced Adobe TypeKit fonts. Belly he'pful!
Fusion can clear font caches for you - I believe it's under the File menu. That may help. Are you using the Font Vault feature, or the "leave in place" feature for font storage? Most often, the Vault is the better option. It's also possible that the PS CS5 plugins may be causing the problem - but you don't need to uninstall PS CS5 - just use Suitcase preferences to uninstall the plugins for older apps.
