Yeah I thought that dumb thing would qualify some as a "redneck" !!
" If you have a singing bass mounted on your living room wall… you might be a redneck !! "
Yer on a roll, my friend...
We spent Saturday @ Ted's redneck buddy's BBQ. He & his wife hauled out the obligatory flatscreen WAY 2 MUCH SUN - to watch NAZCAR (yipteedoo) (too much sun because Billy Bob had cut limbs off their shade-tree to burn in the portable fire-ring)
Which left me with my iPhone in hand previewing "Years of Living Dangerously" via a Showtime App. in the only available shade of my own cast shadow.
Every once in a while, I'd share what I was seeing... ...only to get sideways looks from Billy Bob & Trudy.
Finally Trudy (name changed to protect the ignorant) came right out and said that she didn't know, care, or care-to-know about any dire predictions being discussed because she "couldn't do anything about it so why bother knowing anything about it anyway?"
Cue The Fish

Thanks for the reminder. What a weekend this has been for me. 10 Commandments on Saturday night. All Easter afternoon, watched all the JC movies on TCM. This evening the popcorn will be a plenty for GOT, Nurse Jackie & now Years of Living Dangerously.
Gotta VCR The Good Wife, Devious Maids & Believe.
First time I missed the Sunday marathons of SNAPPED!
