And here I am complaining about all the stink bugs crawling on the outside of my windows driving my already crazy cat even crazier. I actually saw one fly off early this morning. I didn't know they fly! Going to the store to get me a couple cans of Raid. I am going to spray the screens. Those things gave me the heebie jeebies.
Unlike our Native Species These are an Invasive Species from Asia. They're attracted to Light Colored Houses where they try to stay warm on our cold winter days...and to that end... seek entrance via any crevice & seam beneath the shingles and air conditioners to gain entrance into your home, where they generally hunker-down awaiting Spring to become active again, when you may notice them trying to get out again. GOOD RIDDANCE!
