Some Raptors migrate.. some don't.
(remember raptors also include Owls & Eagles)

YEAH!?!? What's with THOSE BIG SUCKERS!?!?

They showed up here as well about a year ago,
stayed all throughout the Winter...

I hadn't had time to investigate exactly what
they are... or what the heck they EAT! shocked

When I lived across from the graveyard, we had
all manor of birdlife, two sizes of Woodpeckers
a nesting pair of hawks, an owl, starlings, finches
sparrows, cardinals, mockingbirds.. and Blue Jays
up the butt...

Saw one of the hawks make-off with the male house
sparrow that nested under my AC, and witnessed a
Red Tail Hawk dismember my almost-a-pet mockingbird
that used to sing over my cat's grave and make-off
with the neatly butchered breasts back to it's nest.
( made a Dream Catcher featuring the White Signal
Flash from the Mockingbird's wing using the honey
suckle vine that entwined the tree... if I find the
picture of it I'll post it...)

...but I've never seen those BIG Hawks (Eagles?)
before this year.. and they're all over the place!

umm.. the other components of the Dream Catcher are a
representation of a Full-Moon Face, a cluster of
Grapes & Leaves, THE White Buffalo (bison) preparing
to step through the center hole into the Next Dimension...
...thus Ending the World. @ the top pf the wing is a
circular disk made of Abalone shell. I designed it as a
composition that represented The Earth, Sea & Sky.
