About the title of the post. Yeah, it's true that members of a group can use the derogatory term for themselves without having everyone else have conniption fits over it. But I still think it's stupid to do it. Those terms are so dirty with their long history that, IMHO, it's impossible to rehabilitate them.

I agree. But sometimes, ya gotta call a heeb a heeb. And Wildstein has a long-standing reputation as the poster boy for derogatory classification. So in this very rare case, I'll exercise my right to stupid social insensitivity.
