Charming, and very cool from a technical POV. But the hype hints that adults will enjoy it as much as the kids — if not for different reasons. But my take is it's enjoyable for adults who have brought their kids to see it. Period.
Not saying it isn't a fun movie, but it didn't exactly levitate me.

I saw it all by my lonesome (well, the theater was packed with kids and their parents, but I went solo ;-) … throughly enjoyed it. Might even go back for a late show in the hopes it won't be so kid-distracting. Might also be a fun 3D movie, depending on the 3D quality.
I'm recommending it to my adult friends as an absolute hoot with a decent story and very good voice acting (and, fairly amazing animation, natch ;-)
