so, i joined another site that uses these same www forums. it is a site related to basketball and they have a secret forum in addition to the regular ones. this secret forum is password protected and you have to pay $20 a year to enter. i paid and this "donation" also entitled me to pick a custom title. i was hoping you folks could give me some ideas to choose from. TIA.

-sean
i was leaning towards the 'self-help group counselor', but that might be a tad long/maybe not???

[color:blue] -sean
how about "short bus leader"

ever have someone ask you if you road the "short bus to school"? Might be kind of fun... who knows..

'Contrariwise', continued Tweedledee, 'If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.
-- Lewis Carroll
heh...reminds me of my license plate. i tend to switch annually...about that time again. my last few license plates have been:
(1) kuhoops (i love ku basketball -- my brother has this now while he attends KU)
(2) bsktbll (i love basketball, but people thought my name might be bill and that i made baskets...sheesh!).
(3) dot edu (everyone thought i worked for the department of transportation so i changed it first chance i got)
(4) edtech (this is on a license plate that has our university's logo on it -- made special in michigan -- i was hoping the school would pay since i am advertising -- no such luck).

next plate potential:
(5) macdork or maybe just dork. ;-)

[color:blue] -sean
how about:

armchair waterboy

armchair quarterbacks are bad, but an armchair waterboy sinks to new lows. i fear people won't get the joke. darn it.

[color:blue] -sean
Geez Sean! Why so down on yourself? With so much to be proud of and your personal accomplishments, you've earned the right to be a little boastful! Forget "waterboy" - "coach" at the very least!!!

[color:red]Alec
i am very proud of what i've done. i am finding, however, that some people are resentful of people with a ph.d. (nooo...gasp) i think they think that i think i am smarter than them. personally, i think they are idiots for thinking that. (JK) ;-) actually, i think there are many people who feel this way and it probably gets at their own feelings of inadequacy. personally, i don't think the letters after your name mean much beyond indicating that you have stick-to-itness. smarts? i think not...i met some people who were getting a ph.d. who probably surprised people by graduating from high school and there they were paying their dues to get a ph.d. stick-to-itness!

[color:blue] -sean
