Common sense and deodorant are a lot alike. People who need it the most don't use it.

Good for you. Don't buy it.

Yeah, kind of wondering what the problem is that this is supposed to solve. Just hold your phone horizontally and you're gtg. It IS nice that it will auto-level and -crop regardless of what angle you're holding your phone, but it seems to me that with that scheme you'll be necessarily sacrificing resolution at anything but horizontal (since leveling/cropping at anything more vertical will use less pixels of the sensor).

Well.. goody for you!

I always hold my phone vertically... but I find a place to lay down so it records horizontally. Not easy to do since everyone is then taller than me and gets in the way of my shot.
Grrrrr.

The point is, there is a plethora of apps out there, both for the Mac OS and iOS, that do what can be done natively anyway.

That response was rude and unnecessary and I apologize for making it.

No offense taken.

I have met people who wouldn't think of rotating their phone 90º in order to shoot "wide screen" photos or videos. That concept simply doesn't occur to them. wink
