I was in this typhoon as I live in Cebu City. It was horrendous and the wind was really startling to hear.Thankfully no one was injured where I live only some small trees fell over and we had a brownout for over 12 hours.Other places were really destroyed a lot and some people died also.

Good to know you weathered the storm well. Apparently it was expected to be even worse (they said the same for the smaller one that hit Japan a couple Wednesdays back). Glad to know it wasn't.

Witnesses said bodies covered in plastic were lying on the streets. Television footage shows cars piled atop each other.
