It's wildly non-linear... throwing nearly 300-600 obscure references at you per show... it's pretty much like ducking 50 calibre machine-gun bullets for 1 1/2hrs
lol trust me, it's more fun than it sounds!
It gets your neurons firing at top speed... each reference setting off 2-5 others until your skull is red-hot & you're gibbering like an idiot until the world returns to normal.

I used to watch that show. It was one of a kind back when there was less variety in what was thought possible in TV programming. I was quite busy around that time in my life, but I still managed to catch quite a few episodes.

Typhoid Mary blunders across the internet spreading infection far and wide. Ignoring repeated warnings not to open attachments from unknown senders and unmoved by entreaties to run security patches and update virus definitions she is the unwitting vector for countless malicious hacks, Trojan horses and embedded viruses. Typhoid Mary believes that someone out there really DOES want her to have “Good Times", or “Win a Holiday”, or that a nice person is actually sending her “Penpal Greetings”. She is intensely loathed by Propellerhead, and is the frequent object of Admin’s homicidal fantasies.

Remember in the 1890s-early 1900s, many had not heard of bacteria or microbes and the disease they caused. Also many, just like Global warming and Evolution, thought it was a hoax ! "How could little tiny things make me (bigger) sick !!??!"
Also many thought you could just wipe them off with a clean towel or rag and you're good to go ! (to the "john")
